CHAPTER OF THE CANDLELIGHTERS CHILDHOOD CANCER FOUNDATION
will be gathering at Manito Park on the South Hill on Friday evening, Sept. 15, 6-8pm, for their annual Candleighter Candlelight Vigil. Please join them for this special occasion where they honor all of our children who are battling cancer , and honor the memory of those children that we have lost.

FREE YOGA CLASSES FOR BREAST CANCER SURVIVORS
WSU Spokane Program in Health Sciences and the WSU Cancer Prevention and Research Center are providing 8 weeks of free Iyengar Yoga classes to eligible women who are breast cancer survivors. Participation is limited to residents of Eastern Washington and who can attend 16 classes running from September-October on Monday and Thursday nights. Eligible women must have good stamina to participate in 75 minutes of movement class that requires pain-free weight-bearing on hands and knees, independent balance while walking and ability to follow verbal instructions. Space is limited and is not guaranteed unless you meet all criteria which will be described in full during an information meeting on Weds. Sept 6th, 2006 at the WSU Spokane Campus Health Sciences Bldg. Room #110A from 6-7pm.
